Akay —Me duele— En idioma Chamí
Abstract
Language defines our relationship with the world and with others, because words make us who we are, and there's no escaping that. Therefore, one could say that language is the foundation of our identity. However, one might wonder how strong that identity is when the language used isn't one's own, but rather an implanted one. Thus, existential questions arise, such as: How does one recognize one's existence in another language? Is "I" truly oneself, or are we invented by the words of others? Can one accept and live with this dispossession and implantation of identity? This path of existential despair is the one our character in search of a name will travel, accompanied by a terrible discomfort with the color white.
